Okay, Cool

Background

Only 21.6% of children in eSwatini access some form of pre-school education prior to entering the formal pre-school system (EU, 2009). Commmunity-based ECDE centers, including Neighbourhood Care Points (NCPs) and community pre-schools have begun to meet the urgent need of children for education, care and support.
There's a lack of training and skills among ECDE teachers to adequately lead classes and inability of the teachers to be accepted into national training programs to insufficient education background.

Most of those teachers went as far as High school and some are High school drop-outs and thus they aren't able to enrol for formal teaching program. Also there's a lack of parents understanding the role of ECDE on a child's learning and development.

Mission

To continuously improve early childhood development service delivery with different stakeholders through coordinated partnerships.

Vision

To build a country that prioritises comprehensive and inclusive Early Childhood Development.

Values

Integrity, Accountability, Inclusion, Excellence and Respect
